Science is testing what you think you know, and growing your brain based off what you learn from your experiments. In science lab you will use real-life situations from dissecting frogs to measuring lava flow from a volcano you make. These experiments will help to expand your understanding and thinking of why our planet acts the way it does. The creative side of your brain will be challenged as we focus on engineering standards, how to develop a solution to problems or phenomena that we face in our daily lives. My main goal as a science teacher is to remind each and every student that they have the ability to be a scientist everywhere they go.
